The reported additions include the Carolina Hurricanes and Utah Mammoth, according to Yahoo Sports. The source material does not identify the third team added to the list or the other destinations.
Yahoo Sports framed the development as potential trade interest involving Larkin rather than reporting a completed trade. The supplied material contains no independent confirmation from Larkin, the Red Wings or the named clubs.
The Yahoo Sports report was published on October 21, 2026. The reported expansion could broaden the teams involved in speculation around Larkin, but the available information does not establish whether a deal has been completed.
