The Kansas City Chiefs have signed former Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker, bringing him back to the NFL after time away from the league.
Yahoo Sports reports that Tucker is joining the Chiefs' practice squad. The move gives Kansas City another kicking option and marks Tucker's return to an NFL team after he had been away since 2024, according to the supplied reports.
Yahoo Sports attributes Tucker's absence and return to a reported 2025 suspension, but the available material does not specify the circumstances or length di that suspension. CBS Sports characterizes the signing as coming after struggles by Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker.
The supplied reports do not provide contract terms or establish whether Tucker was later elevated from the practice squad.
