How the choice works
On a first visit, optional Google Analytics is off. The site does not request the Google Analytics script until you choose “Accept analytics” or enable analytics in “Preferences”. “Reject optional” keeps it off. You can reopen the controls using “Cookie settings” and change your choice.
Preference storage
The site stores the analytics choice in browser local storage under 24signal-privacy-choice-v1. This storage is used only to remember the choice; it is not sent with HTTP requests. It remains until you change it or clear browser storage. The consent mechanism itself does not set a cookie.
Google Analytics
If enabled by your choice, the site loads Google Analytics 4 using measurement ID G-ZZQPPNDS7H. Google Analytics may use cookies such as _ga and related identifiers to distinguish browsers and measure visits. The exact cookies, scope and expiration are determined by the active property configuration and browser. The account's server-side event-retention setting has not been verified. No advertising tag is enabled by this site.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
Use “Cookie settings” at any time. If you turn analytics off after previously allowing it, the site blocks the tag on subsequent pages and attempts to remove accessible Google Analytics cookies for this domain. You may also clear local storage and cookies in your browser settings.
