The couple arrived together to cast their ballots in Palm Beach. The Times of India reported that the voting took place at the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections office in West Palm Beach, Florida.
EL PAÍS reported that Trump is registered to vote at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida. The available reporting did not provide an official confirmation from the county elections office.
According to Clarín, Trump urged voters in Florida and Michigan to vote early and submit their ballots on time. A separate Clarín report described the occasion as the first day of in-person early voting in Florida.
The early vote also underscored a contrast documented in the reporting. Trump had previously faced criticism for voting by mail while repeatedly attacking that practice, and he had also questioned early voting, according to Times of India and EL PAÍS.
When asked whether he had voted for candidates from his own party, Trump replied that he had done so “very much,” according to the Times of India. The supplied reports do not identify the candidates chosen by Trump or Melania Trump.
