The Tony Awards will remain on CBS through 2032 under a renewed broadcast agreement, extending the awards show's long-running relationship with the network.
Variety describes the agreement as a new five-year broadcast deal involving CBS, the American Theatre Wing and The Broadway League. The renewal keeps the Tony Awards on the network after a partnership that dates to 1978.
The 80th Annual Tony Awards are scheduled to broadcast live on CBS on Sunday, June 13, 2027, according to Billboard. The agreement therefore secures the network's coverage of the anniversary edition while continuing its established broadcast role.
